ABOUT

After earning my BS in Elementary Education from DePaul University, I worked within the Arizona public school systems as an educator and administrator before beginning my career as a child and adolescent therapist. I earned my Master’s in Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of Washington, completing my internship and contract therapy work at Youth Eastside Services. My training has prepared me to work with children and teens of all, ethnicities, races, religions, gender identities, and sexual orientations, struggling with a wide variety of mental health concerns.

I understand that the working-relationship between a teen and their therapist is at the center of creating progress towards mental health goals. I value my teen client’s perspectives, interests, internal and external motivators, and lived experience. I work from a psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral framework, allowing teens I work with to understand the connection between their lived experience, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work with my client’s and their families to develop treatment goals that allow for teens to understand their individual mental health needs to develop coping skills and thrive in the ever-changing world around them. When appropriate, I use assessment questionnaires and I will often consult with my supervisor to ensure my clients are receiving the proper course of treatment and interventions that fit their needs. Length of treatment varies, depending on individual and family needs.

When not counseling at Envision, I also work as an adolescent therapist at Sequoia Teen Counseling Center. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring the beautiful nature we have in the PNW, catching up on the latest shows and music, reading, scrolling Tiktok, playing video games, and honing my cooking skills.

A Good Faith Estimate of expected charges is provided upon scheduling or upon your request for self-pay clients.

Cancellation Policy

Must cancel 24 hours before the appointment to avoid $100 fee.
