Grayson Lein, MA, LMHCA
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, I provide counseling to individuals aged 14+. My approach to counseling integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Mindfulness interventions in a solution-focused framework. I collaboratively work with clients to understand clients’ problems within the context of their lives, identifying the current impact of the problem and exploring how the client wants to experience their life and relationships with more authenticity. Depending on the client’s needs and life context I may use in addition to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, other theoretical approaches, as necessary.
My areas of clinical interest include, individual development and problem solving, relationship enrichment, social skills development, professional development, and grief. I may assign tasks or reading to be completed outside of therapy, and when appropriate I use assessment tools to gather additional information as needed. I provide both brief and long-term therapy, with length of treatment varying from client to client based upon mutual agreement prior to the beginning of counseling.
When not providing counseling services, I am cooking, baking, hiking, and/or spending time with my family.
