Lindsey Schoeneman, MA, LMHC, MHP

My goal as a therapist is to help people feel empowered, clear, and in charge of their own lives. I believe that we as humans are oriented toward well-being and wholeness, and that we all hold the potential to live in alignment with our authentic selves.

My practice is person-centered, creative, and rooted in an Existential-Transpersonal framework, which considers the wholeness of human experience and seeks to guide one to their fullest potential. This approach provides a generous foundation to explore issues and new ways of being, which can lead to meaningful, self-directed, and embodied changes in one’s life. I offer creative arts therapy as exploratory, action-oriented, and contemplative opportunities for clients to express themselves in new and unique ways that contribute to their healing and growth. Engaging in creative practices promotes mindfulness, integration, and vitality, three important elements in healing, self-discovery, and making changes that are important to you. I believe that addressing the whole spectrum of your lived experience with curiosity and compassion will help steady your path in the direction you want your life to go.

I have experience working with people with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, career challenges, substance use, co-occurring conditions, psychosis, and homelessness. My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, and I strive to provide a safe and anti-racist space for this work.
