ABOUT
My goal is to create a safe space where you can share openly about your story: your fears, worries, sadness, loss, and trauma as well as your joys, achievements, strengths, resourcefulness, and wisdom. You deserve to feel seen and heard without judgment. You have the capacity to change.
Together, we will explore your story, using methods and skills appropriate to your personalized goals.
My style of therapy is person-centered, strengths-based, compassionate and encouraging. I incorporate elements of ACT, CBT, Attachment Theory, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion into my practice, all with a trauma-informed lens. Our work together will be collaborative. I offer foundational tools and frameworks, and seek to empower your own agency and decision-making.
I specialize in working with adult individuals experiencing anxiety, ADHD, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, stress, and life transitions (especially those in “Quarterlife”). As a social worker, I also value working with folks in various helping professions, who are often experiencing secondary trauma and burnout.
I’ve worked in social services since 2014, in roles related to advocacy, case management, child & family therapy, crisis intervention, safety planning, and therapeutic support. I have prior experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, suicidality, and substance use. After receiving my MSW (2016), I worked for two years at a Seattle non-profit serving adult survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. I then worked at an inpatient psychiatric hospital providing crisis and stabilization services prior to joining the team at Envision in the summer of 2020.
It is a privilege for me to enter into this space with you, and I do not take it lightly. I look forward to journeying alongside you, as we explore your story, and seek to write the next chapter.
