ABOUT
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when life feels overwhelming. I aim to meet you with curiosity, warmth, and a little humor as we make sense of what you’re facing. Therapy can be a space to feel genuinely supported while developing a deeper understanding of yourself and the patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, life transitions, and other emotional and interpersonal challenges.
My approach is psychodynamic, relational, and attachment-based. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences, particularly early relationships, may continue to shape how you see yourself, relate to others, and respond to challenges today. This isn’t about blaming the past. It’s about understanding how old patterns can continue to influence the present and creating more room for new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating.
I believe the relationship we build in therapy is an important part of the work. Patterns involving closeness, trust, conflict, vulnerability, or disconnection can sometimes emerge between us, giving us an opportunity to understand them together in real time. I strive to create a relationship where you can feel safe enough to be honest, curious, and fully yourself.
Therapy is a second career for me. I returned to graduate school because I felt strongly drawn to this work, and I continue to believe deeply in the potential of the therapeutic process. We’ll work collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you.
