About Me
I work with individuals and couples seeking support with relationship challenges, communication difficulties, life transitions, personal growth, and emotional well-being. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), an AAMFT and Washington State Approved Supervisor, and the Owner and Clinical Director of Envision Counseling, PLLC. My education, training, and clinical experience have prepared me to work thoughtfully and responsively with individuals and couples from diverse cultural, relational, and life experiences.
Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is relational, systemic, and collaborative, with a focus on helping clients create meaningful and lasting change. I view individual challenges within the broader context of relationships, life experiences, and patterns of interaction. My clinical interests include strengthening communication, increasing openness and understanding, supporting post-infidelity healing and reconciliation, shifting negative relational patterns, and fostering personal and professional growth and well-being.
Therapy is tailored to the needs and goals of each individual or couple. Between sessions, I may recommend practical strategies to support forward movement outside of therapy. I also use assessment tools and questionnaires, when appropriate, to gather additional clinical information. The length of therapy varies depending on each client’s goals, needs, and circumstances, though many clients experience meaningful progress within several months.
When I am not providing therapy services or supervising postgraduate therapists and counselors, I provide NBCC-approved comprehensive clinical and supervisor training and serve on the Washington State Department of Health Mental Health Counselors, Marriage & Family Therapists, and Social Workers Advisory Committee.
Experience & Education
In 2020, I earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy, with a specialization in Couple Therapy, from Northcentral University. In 2013, I received the Educator of the Year Award from the Washington State Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. To broaden my systemic training as a consultant to family-owned businesses, I completed a Master’s Certificate in Organization, Management and Development from Fielding Graduate University in 2007. In 2003, I earned a Master’s degree in Psychology, Child, Couple and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle.

From 2009 to 2023, I served as faculty at Antioch University Seattle in the School of Counseling, Therapy, and Wellness and the Counselor Education and Supervision program.
