ABOUT

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State and see clients in person and virtually at Envision Counseling. I bring over 14 years of experience across diverse clinical settings. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, low self-esteem, grief, and life transitions. Clinical experience includes working with neurodivergent individuals and those exploring identity and purpose. My approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and art-based interventions, and includes certification in Trauma-Focused CBT and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

I entered the counseling profession later in life. Lived experience across five decades informs a grounded, well-rounded, and non-judgmental clinical perspective. I approach each client with respect, compassion, and a steady focus on meaningful change. Humor and perspective remain part of the work when appropriate.

Clinical work begins with a thorough understanding of each client’s concerns and context, followed by the development of individualized, evidence-informed interventions. Therapy requires effort and commitment; I remain actively engaged in supporting that process at each stage.

I am a Preferred Provider with Aetna, Cigna, First Choice, Kaiser Permanente, Optum, Premera, and Regence. Please call for inquiries regarding additional insurance plans.

Self-Pay

A Good Faith Estimate of expected charges will be provided when scheduling an appointment or upon request for self-pay clients.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is required 48-hours in advance of the appointment to avoid $100 fee.
